A fresh, modern spin on the traditional lonestar quilt. The Commonwealth Star quilt is a baby sized (40" x 40") lonestar quilt with graphic two tone stripes. This size would make a perfect wall hanging or playmat.
This quilt is entirely pieced using Ruby Star Society's Warp and Weft cross weave wovens line. It is unbelievably soft and drapy! The two tone stripes are persimmon and dahlia; the background is sky; backing is cactus, and binding is navy.
I use Hobb's Tuscany cotton and wool blend batting for maximum coziness.
This quilt was machine pieced, machine quilted and hand bound with big stitch binding.
Care: Wash cold when needed. Tumble dry low or hang to dry.
