The Double Irish Chain is a traditional quilt pattern that has been made for generations.
This is a large 70" x 70" throw sized quilt made with quality quilting cottons from Art Gallery Fabrics. The background is the pretty busy bee floral from Sharon Holland's Kismet line and the chains are complimentary solids from AGF Pure Solids line.
The quilt backing and binding are also from the Kismet line to compliment the quilt.
This quilt was pieced by machine, but quilted by hand with perle cotton and hand bound with big stitch binding.
I use Hobb's Tuscany cotton and wool blend batting for maximum coziness.
Care: Wash cold when needed. Tumble dry low or hang to dry.
