Wintry is a modern, block-based pattern that is appropriate for quilters of all skill levels. It is a sister quilt to my Birdling pattern.
The Wintry quilt features a geometric snowflake block that is pieced efficiently using the strip-piecing method. It is the perfect pattern for mix and match fat quarters, scrappy sewing, or simply showing off a beautiful palette of solids.
The pattern comes with instructions for two colour variations. Version One has multicolour snowflakes, one background colour and scrappy sashing while Version Two has a variety of block background colours and one snowflake and sashing colour.
Available as a downloadable PDF, this beginner-friendly pattern includes instructions for the following sizes:
Crib (9 blocks) - 52" x 52"
Small Throw (12 blocks) - 52" x 68"
Large Throw (16 blocks) - 68" by 68"
Bed (25 blocks) - 85" x 85"
This is a listing for a printed paper pattern. The pattern is printed on a high quality saddle stitched 5.5" x 8.5" paper booklet, enclosed in a clear zip bag with a hang hole.
